Quality Time

We were very concious, after having Rhea, to make sure we made time for one another. During school we make sure to at least eat dinner together and go to bed at the same time. We prided ourselves on having a great relationship but it's the little things that sneak up on you and change your whole life. So today, in the middle of laundry Adam looked up at me. He gave me that look. That look. I was folding laundry and obviously not in the mindset. I looked up, he smiled and said:

"Hey. Wanna play Scramble? I bet I can beat you"

And just like that, we found yet another way to spend time together.

  1. Ha ha! This cracked me up...for a second there I was a little worried where this post was going...

We play boggle all the time which is just the non-techno form of scramble, gotta love those quality moments, as few and far between as they may be sometimes!

  2. We read the Percy Jackson (Rick Riordan) series, and have moved on to other books we are both entertained by. We also LOVE netflix! Isn't it so true that it is hard to find time!?! Add kids, and it is nearly impossible to find alone time. I am glad you were able to find something to do!

PS: If Addy is like Matt, he can't spell worth beans, and I have to correct his words.
