Throttle Cable from H-E-Double Dockey Sticks

Yesterday my car moved for the first time under its own power. you might all be having this grand vision of it pulling out of the driveway victoriously onto the open road, but no, it moved 6 inches, and nothing could have been quite so satisfying. I've been having some problems with my throttle cable, and cant seem to keep the car running for more than about 30 seconds, but man oh man, when I pushed in that clutch and put it into 1st gear, and it slowly crawled forward until it died; every part of me within screamed YES! I'm sure you are all thinking to yourselves "Adam has truly lost it, he must be the craziest person I now know."
